Add Context Rows¶
Modify a task data entry sheet by increasing the number of context rows in any one context, ie changing its size (although not its structure, the parameters or their order). This would mean that task sheets would not have to be built with unnecessary redundancy (a maximimum number of context rows) and mean for example, extra doses or time points could be added to an existing Task as the scientist requires.
Scenario¶
- Open data entry sheet with default context rows and fixed parameters
- Change the number rows for any single context - this changes the number of rows for that specific context
- Change the number of rows uniformly for all contexts of that type
Acceptance Criteria¶
- Cannot reduce the number of context rows if this results in data deletion
- Rows need only be appended, not inserted into the middle of the context
- This functionality could be prevented with locked protocols that allow no change to structure or size.
Risks¶
This type of flexibility is difficult to take advantage of templating techniques in Excel and will have impacts on BioRails4Office, it is something MorphIt is designed to deal with.
